Powering Safe Communities: Rainbow Beach PAC Receives ComEd Grant!

We're proud to share that Rainbow Beach Park Advisory Council has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2025 Powering Safe Communities Grant from ComEd and the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus!
Thanks to this support, we’ll be installing:
3 solar-powered pathway lights,
2 solar-powered emergency call stations, and
2 solar phone charging stations - all to make our beach park safer and more welcoming for everyone, especially during evening hours.
As a small but mighty community organization, we're honored to help make Rainbow Beach Park a safer, more enjoyable place for all.
We're excited to continue working alongside our Chicago Park District partners to improve our park-and we're deeply grateful to all our supporters who stood with us in this process.
