Circus in the Park: When We All Learned to Fly

Circus at Rainbow Beach Park felt like a spell-freedom and flight stitched into every leap, the air bright with neighbors’ awe and those soft, shared gasps. The performers were light enough to lift the whole crowd with them; you could see it in the kids copying cartwheels on the grass and in the elders smiling like they’d remembered an old song.

Our lovely neighbor Denise Stevenson said something so true: “The family that plays together stays together.” That’s the soul of the Rainbow Beach Park Advisory Council’s vision-a park where families feel safe and joyful, where present and future generations meet under the same sky, laugh in the same breeze, and keep coming back-together. ❤️

Thank you to the artists who brought wonder to our shoreline, to the volunteers who set up and stayed late, and to everyone who showed up with blankets, snacks, and open hearts. Every time we fill these spaces with play and art, we reclaim them as our own-and we make it easier for the next gathering to bloom.
